Here at Monkseaton Middle, we take great pride in our school and we all work together closely, as a team, to provide a caring, friendly and supportive environment in support of all who work in our school.
We have high expectations to achieve the very best in all we do. These expectations are underpinned by a belief in the traditional values of courtesy, mutual respect and hard work. The school is well served by a team of highly motivated and well qualified staff, a very supportive governing body and parents who take an active interest in their child's education. Everyone connected with the school is dedicated to maximising the potential of all of our pupils in their endeavours both inside and outside of the classroom.
Our most recent OFSTED inspection, in April 2009, recognised our strengths as a school, in supporting our pupils. Some of the many positive comments in this area:
